community membership

• Open to individuals with an interest in data discovery

• Participates in communication channels and forums (e.g. DDC listserv)

• Welcome to participate in Core Groups and can be voted onto the Steering Committee

institutional membership

• Membership is at the library-level

• Guides policies and practice of the DDC through voting rights for the Steering Committee

• Some requirements for participation in Core Groups

• Some support provided if an institutional member decides to implement the Data Catalog

• Institutional members will be listed on the DDC website
